Reaction Frame Test, Maida Vale

Having provided a commercially viable design for the piling requirements of this project Rock Foundations (Gibraltar) was contracted to provide a Pre Contract pile test in order to confirm the design parameters.

As access to this particulate was restricted a Reaction Test type of testing was selected as the most effective method.  The Klemm 806 was engaged to install four reaction frame anchors and one 200mmm test pile.

Allowing sufficient curing time for the structural grout, the reaction frame was mobilised and installed.

The test regime, as per the design specification, was completed, the pile exceeded the design requirements allowing the piling works for the project to continue as per the preliminary design.
