La Pinta, Soto Grande

The property, La Pinta in Soto Grande was experiencing slight structural damage caused by settlement in the underlying soft clays and Rock Foundations (SL) was engaged to deliver a suitable solution to the residential property.

The remedial scheme required piles to be installed alongside the flank of the property where normal plant would not be able to access as no platform would be available. The engineers at Rock Foundations (SL) were able to mobilse a Grundomat Hammer and compressor to successfully install a total of 18 102mm diameter piles to a depth of 8m. These piles were then incorporated within a ground beam as per the engineers specification.

Rock Foundations (SL) were able to complete all works within the original budget and to programme to the satisfaction of the client.
